It’s no wonder that millions of people want to backup or copy legal games that they own for it, with the Xbox 260 being one of the most popular and advanced games consoles in the World. However, Microsoft have placed all sorts of security measures on the 360 discs, become some inconsiderate people decided to copy games illegally, preventing them from being duplicated. There’s a way round this which you can do without a mod chip, this is a big problem if you want to protect your games from being damaged… but luckily.

To actually very simple, the problem with Xbox 360 games. Microsoft encodes a set of “security sectors”, on the disc itself. It is and that it’ a legal copy, these are parts of the DVD which tell your Xbox about which game. The Xbox looks for whether it’s got these security sectors, every time you put a game disc into your console. If it can find them intact, they are corrupt, or it will play the game… but if it can’t find them, then it will refuse to play the game.

Then you just need to be able to duplicate the game disc with the security sectors intact, this means that if you want to copy or backup an Xbox 360 game that you own. And unfortunately, meaning that if you try and copy them, the sectors won’t get copied and you will have made another coaster (which is the term for a dud copy), these parts of the DVD are actually invisible to almost game copying tools.

To the seen as the “holy grail” of the backup & coping community, getting a tool or method which can copy your games perfectly (with the security sectors). To copy your games and play the duplicates without a mod chip, it’s the holy grail because there are hardly any methods and tools which allow you. However, to actually find a tool which can do this for you, we’ve been lucky enough.
